maybe "Hope Alone" by the Indigo Girls? Reaaaaaaally depressing and fabulous.
"Hope Alone" is terribly depressing. I think Obama is using it as his campaign theme song.
The obvious choice: "Bad Moon on the Rise"
IG's "Hope" is *so* rough, and its lyrics kept a place on my IM (remember when we used that?) buddy info for well over a year. She is officially retired.
